Senior Project Manager - Radiological Preparedness

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary customer point of contact and manage customer relationships.

• Set expectations, develop efficient and effective customer solutions, manage project team members, meet milestones, manage scope, and execute project deliverables.

• Define business requirements, create budgets, task plans and schedules, and control the day to day operations of the project.

• Ensure that timelines and budgets are met.

• Develop and provide project status updates to customers and corporate leadership.

• Track and facilitate resolution of all issues and conflicts during the project life cycle.

• Communicate project information with the customers and internal team members.

• Manage subcontractor performance and costs

Skills Required:

• In-depth knowledge of HSEEP and NIMS

• Demonstrated knowledge of the nuclear power industry in the U.S.

• Demonstrated knowledge of rules and regulations for licensing of fixed nuclear facilities.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience regarding radiological hazards and preparedness for radiological emergencies.

• Demonstrated experience managing a large project team, including subcontractors.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing complex projects with expertise in cost and schedule requirements.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated excellent customer relations management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in technical or management field is required; Masters or higher is preferred.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• A minimum of 15 years experience managing technological hazard preparedness programs with a record of increasing responsibility.

• Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance; TS preferred.
